    Hi Raman Sinha,

Since DISKPART changes revert after reboot, this may be caused by a persistent dirty bit flag or a volume corruption marker. I recommend running chkdsk D: /f to check and fix any file system errors, followed by verifying the disk’s health in Event Viewer > System Logs for any recurring I/O or controller issues.

Additionally, you can confirm that the disk is not marked as offline policy-controlled in Disk Management or Group Policy. If this is a virtual disk, ensure the host system recognizes the expansion and that the VM configuration reflects the updated size.

You can try and let me know the update. If this explanation is useful, please tick “Accept Answer” so I know your concern is resolved.

    Jason.
