From the documentation Microsoft provided
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/language-service/migration-studio-to-foundry
and
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/language-service/conversational-language-understanding/how-to/quickstart-multi-turn-conversations

You can migrate without any issues
But I can see Azure AI Language

So what I am doing wrong?

    Hi Frank Boateng

Did you find my pointers helpful.

For old Language projects, we can export the project configuration and re-import them once they are connected as connections in Foundry projects.

    Thank you.

Yes, as you correctly pointed out, most of cognitive services like translator, language, Content safety are available as Service endpoints (are being retired as individual resource)

As the documentation suggests, you can create connection to existing Language projects.

and import the past projects as mentioned here into the connected project in AI foundry.

Please let me know if you need further assistance. Have tried to reach you via private message for the same.

    Thank you.

To migrate from Azure Language Studio to Microsoft Foundry, it's important to ensure that you are following the correct steps outlined in the migration documentation. Here are some key points to consider:

    1. Migration Deadline: Azure Language Studio will be retired on February 16, 2026. After this date, you will need to use Microsoft Foundry for all your projects.
    2. Creating a Foundry Hub: You need to create a Foundry hub and an associated hub-based project to access your existing Azure Language resources. Ensure that you have set this up correctly in the Azure portal.
    3. Connecting Resources: If you're using an existing Azure Language resource, make sure it is properly connected to your Foundry hub. This connection is essential for accessing your custom models and training data.
    4. Troubleshooting: If you are encountering issues, check for the following:
      • Correct role assignments (Cognitive Services User or higher).
      • Compatibility of the Language resource and Foundry project regions.
      • Proper configuration of managed identity.
    5. Importing Projects: If you're trying to import projects, ensure that the export file format matches the expected import format and that there are no conflicts with existing project names.

If you have followed these steps and are still facing issues, please provide more details about the specific problems you are encountering for further assistance.
