Does Microsoft give option to create new Ticket ?

How to generate new ticket in Azure portal? It was available earlier but now Microsoft is redirecting to documents or other Q&A pages and not letting me create new ticket.

    Hey @Talha Farooqi

If you have an active Azure support plan/subscription that includes technical support, please let us know. We can assist with creating a support ticket on your behalf. If you're unable to see the option to create a new support request in the Azure portal, please share your subscription details and support plan information so we can guide you further.

    Hello Talha !

Thank you for posting on MS Learn Q&A.

Yes, Microsoft still provides the option to create a new Azure support ticket.

In the Azure portal, go to Help + support → Create a support request / New support request. The portal may first show recommended documents, automated checks, or Microsoft Q&A links. If those do not solve the issue, continue through the flow and select the option to create a support request.

If the option is missing check the following:

You are in the correct Azure tenant and subscription.

Your account has the required subscription role: Owner, Contributor, or Support Request Contributor.

The subscription has an eligible support plan for technical support.

For billing, quota, subscription, and account issues, Azure support is available even without a paid technical support plan.

For Azure Synapse technical issues, if you only have Basic/free support, the portal may redirect you to Microsoft Q&A unless you have a paid support plan.

You can also try opening the request from the affected Azure Synapse resource itself by going to the resource menu and selecting Support + troubleshooting / Help + support.
