Bluetooth headphones connection issue in win11 laptop
Hi all!
Just wanted to add on this thread: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/3846376/connection-failiure-sony-xm5-windows-11 which is now frozen. Hence, a new question. What I have to add is that I had the same exact symptoms but the issue was that I was not careful enough to correctly plug in one of the cables of the wireless card (aux) of my laptop after disconnecting both cables. After plugging it in the issue disappeared. Happy tinkering!

I understand how frustrating it can be when you are sharing your experience with a Bluetooth connection issue involving Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones on a Windows 11 laptop, where the problem was ultimately traced to an internal wireless card antenna (AUX) cable that was not fully connected.

- Could you confirm whether the issue occurred after servicing, upgrading, or opening the laptop chassis?
- Is the Bluetooth adapter currently using the latest driver provided by the laptop manufacturer?
