Hello,

I am planning to give exam AB-100 Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect, but i heard that there are at least one prerequisite exam needed to be pass. I wanted to give AI-103 exam which is there in prerequisite but this exam is still in Beta and I can't proceed with that now. My question is if i proceed and given AB-100 Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect exam now and later given AI-103 when it will be live. Will that case any issue? do I will get AB-100 cerification?

Please help.

Regards,

Prasad

Yep - you can take the AB-100 exam now and your prerequisite exam later. Microsoft allows you to take required exams in any order you choose. However, you will not receive the official certification until you complete all the requirements.

When you pass the AB-100 exam first, it will show up as passed on your transcript. Your official expert certification will stay locked and will not appear in your profile yet. Once you pass your prerequisite exam later on, the system will unlock and issue your full certificate.

You can also take the AI-103 exam while it is still in its beta phase if you do not want to wait. You will just have to wait a few weeks after the exam leaves beta to get your official score. Another choice is checking if you can take the AI-102 exam, which also counts as a prerequisite.

    Hello Marcin,

Thanks for quick and descriptive reply. About AI-102, I am avoiding because it is getting retired soon and AI-103, i heard that beta exams are not allowed from India. Is that true?
