I want to be a member of Microsoft 365 basic but I get this

I was a member of Microsoft 365 personel 3 months ago. I cancelled it and tried to go to basic but it didn't go well

Hi!
The message "CannotPurchaseWithActiveRecurrencePastGracePeriod" means that the subscription is in a pending or grace period state.
You should confirm if the subscription has actually been canceled and if it has also expired. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services > Log in with the same Microsoft account you are trying to subscribe to MS 365 Basic with > Click Manage on the subscription > Check if it is canceled and expired.
