Reverification for Microsoft for startups
The initial verification link for our Founders Hub sponsorship was opened on a secondary workstation on our local network layout, triggering an automated session security block. The subscription diagnostics show the account is healthy, but the verification state is stuck. This is a legitimate startup entity (Aurum Nebula LLC). How do I clear this security flag or reset the verification email handshake so we can utilize our credits and get verified? ******@aurumnebula.com

Hi @Bryan Long
When an initial verification handshake is opened on an alternate workstation, the sudden shift in IP, browser fingerprint, or local proxy/firewall layout often triggers an automated session security flag.
Because security state flags are cached heavily on both your local network route and Microsoft's identity verification edge servers, you can clear this state using a step-by-step methodology.
Step1: Invalidate Cache
- Purge Microsoft Session Cookies: Go to your browser settings and explicitly clear cookies and cached data for: *.startups.microsoft.com login.microsoftonline.com login.live.com
- Revoke Third-Party Tokens: If your Founders Hub application used a LinkedIn pairing for identity confirmation, go to your LinkedIn Settings -> Data Privacy -> Permitted Services and revoke permissions for any Microsoft/Azure apps. This forces a clean handshake request next time.
Step2: Clear the Flag via a Fresh Auth Handshake
Do not click the original link inside the automated email, as that exact URL pattern contains the flagged session token.
- Launch a completely fresh InPrivate / Incognito window.
- Navigate directly to the root portal: https://portal.startups.microsoft.com.
- Sign in using the precise Microsoft Account (MSA) credential linked to ******@aurumnebula.com.
- If the account successfully authenticates but lands on a profile loop or prompts for verification, navigate to the My Profile tab, verify the business domain contact data, and click Save Changes to force trigger a clean, unflagged verification email to your inbox.
If the above steps still does not succeed, then manual unblock from Microsoft team would be required.
Follow the below steps to raise a ticket for the same.
- Navigate to https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal or select the ? Help Icon in the top right of the Founders Hub portal dashboard.
- Provide all the details related to your issue. This should help resolve your issues.
