Not Receiving Emails

I am an transfer applicant student for [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]. I’m using Outlook 365 on iPhone 17 Pro. The app helps for my UC Irvine email. But for some reason I don’t receive any emails. My DSC counselor has sent me an email regarding information for my school, but it doesn’t seem to show up on my inbox. And I don’t see any replies from him for any of the emails that I sent to him. I don’t know why the receiving end doesn’t work for me, can you please check and fix it?

Here is my [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] Microsoft 365 email:

    Dear @Zoe A. Lee,

Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear that you’re not receiving important emails.

Based on your description, it appears that your Outlook app on your iPhone may not be syncing properly or the emails might be getting filtered.

To help identify the issue, could you please try the steps below:

1.Check your mailbox via a web browser:

    • Please sign in to your email using Outlook on the web (from Safari or any browser).
    • If you can see the missing emails there, this indicates that your mailbox is working correctly and the issue is likely with the mobile app.

    2.Check other folders:

Sometimes emails may be automatically filtered into other locations. Kindly review:

    • Junk/Spam folder
    • “Other” tab (if Focused Inbox is enabled)
    • Archive folder Outlook can occasionally route messages away from the main inbox.

    3.Refresh and verify connection

    • Open the Outlook app and pull down the inbox to refresh
    • Ensure your internet connection is stable, as syncing requires an active connection

4.Reset or re-add your account in the Outlook app This step is often effective if the app stops syncing:

    • Go to Outlook > Settings > Accounts
    • Select your account
    • Tap Reset Account or remove the account and add it again Re-adding the account helps rebuild the connection to your mailbox and restore syncing.

As a temporary workaround, you may continue using Outlook on the web to ensure you don’t miss any important emails.

If the issue persists after trying the steps above, please let me know.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. I understand how important this is for your application, and I’m here to support you.

Please feel free to reply at any time if you need further assistance.
