How the process works

  • Step 1: Decide on your accommodations and gather any required documentation

The accommodations you need may differ if you are testing online or in person. Accommodations require advanced notification or approval with supporting documentation before scheduling your exam.

  • Step 2: Submit the request with the exam provider

Pearson VUE delivers exams for technical professionals and manages the accommodation process.

Submit your request with Pearson VUE
  • Step 3: Get verification and register for your exam

It may take up to 10 business days for your request to be approved. After it has been approved, you will be able to call and schedule your exam over the phone.

If the exam is not available in your native language

Use the English as a Second Language form to request additional time. Extra time will only be provided if the exam is not available in your native language.
