Note

Run Configuration Manager cmdlets from the Configuration Manager site drive, for example PS XYZ:\>. For more information, see getting started.

Examples

Example 1: Rename a security scope

The first command gets the security scope object named Scope1 and stores it in the $Scope variable.

The second command changes the name of the security scope to Admin scope.

$Scope = Get-CMSecurityScope -Name "Scope1"

Set-CMSecurityScope -InputObject $Scope -NewName "Admin scope"
