Backend Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Next.js.
• Collaborate with the team to implement and deploy applications on AWS.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, ensuring proper functionality.
• Participate in frontend and backend integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of code quality and development practices.
• Identify and resolve technical issues under supervision.
• Stay updated on relevant backend development technologies and trends.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in backend development.
• Previous experience working with Node.js and Next.js.
• Basic knowledge of AWS deployment and relational database management.

Skills and Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Next.js.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and its core services.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL, including queries and basic database management.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
