Aims and scope

European Journal of Medical Research aims to support and publish research into the causes, characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of human disorders and disease.  We will consider translational, preclinical and clinical research across all medical disciplines, enabling clinicians and other researchers to learn about developments and innovations within and across the boundaries between these disciplines. European Journal of Medical Research publishes high quality ethically-conducted research and reviews and aims to ensure that the results of all well-conducted research are published, regardless of their outcome.

Oncology                                                         Benign and malignant neoplastic disease and their related epidemiology, pathology, genetics, diagnostics and imaging, prevention and treatments including palliative care.
Surgery and Therapeutic Innovation              All surgery including neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, ENT, opthalmic, urology, transplantation and orthopaedic surgery. Novel therapeutics and devices.
Neuroscience                                                  Neurology, dementia and cognitive decline, mental health and neurorehabilitation and their related epidemiology, pathology, genetics, diagnostics and imaging, prevention and treatments.
Metabolism and Reproductive Medicine                    Diabetes, obesity, metabolic disease, endocrinology, male and female infertility, menopause and related gynaecological and obstetric disorders and their related epidemiology, pathology, genetics, diagnostics and imaging, prevention and treatments.
