Opened in 1969, The Pelham Fritz facilities include performance spaces, a children’s playroom, a weightlifting area, a reading room, a computer center, and a game room. This center honors Pelham Fritz (1920–1988), an esteemed Parks official, former basketball player and coach, and Harlem resident for most of his life.
Originally built in 1969, and renovated in 2011, the band shell and amphitheater is a vibrant community gathering place for music, dance, celebrations, and ceremonies.
Indoor space available for local organization to use for events and meetings. Public restrooms located in the building.
Plaza located at top of Mount Morris, crowned by the historic Fire Watch Tower, originally constructed in 1812, and restored in 2019.

Two dog run areas: A larger area for all dogs, and a smaller are for dogs who need to be separated from other dogs — ie: because they are not yet socialized, they are healing from an injury, or they just prefer to be alone.

The Marcus Garvey Park Alliance was originally formed as a neighborhood group to advocate for improvements to Marcus Garvey Park, back in 2000, as the park became a safe space for community residents to gather the organization turned its focus to programming in the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater and under utilized open spaces throughout the park.
