Explorer for Endevor

The Explorer for Endevor VS Code extension modernizes the way you interact with Endevor and offers a user-friendly and convenient way to work with elements and inventory locations. Explorer for Endevor includes the following features:

  • Work with multiple Endevor inventory locations
  • Navigate and filter elements in the Endevor Elements view
  • Manage elements (add, edit, generate, move, and more)
  • Work with listings
  • Manage packages (create, update, cast, and more)
  • Leverage a basic Software Control Language (SCL) support (statements highlighting)
  • Access reports (C1MSGS1, APIMSGS, and C1MSGSA)
  • Work with Endevor synchronized workspaces
  • Manage Endevor connections and inventory location in team config files (Zowe integration)
  • Access API Mediation Layer, using base profiles (Zowe integration)

The extension streamlines the way you access and edit your Endevor-based source code, saving your mainframe resources. You can navigate your Endevor environments, work with packages, print listings, access reports and more from the convenience of a lightweight IDE.
