Our monthly collaboration with the New Museum continues with eXistenZ preceded by artist Tishan Hsu’s emergent mesh; to celebrate her book Everyone Hot Pot, beloved chef and author Natasha Pickowicz brings a special pop up menu to the Metrograph Commissary and a program of two films to the theater—Tampopo and Eat Drink Man Woman—inspired by the book and her love of family cooking, introduced by Pickowicz and her parents; This Long Century’s Jason Evans returns to present a program of three experimental films by British artist and filmmaker Ben Rivers, followed by a conversation with the artist; celebrate father’s day at Metrograph with a girl dad double feature of Late Spring and 35 Shots of Rum; Death in Venice, Full Contact, Empire of the Sun on 35mm, and more!
