The SOKIL fixed-wing tactical reconnaissance drone is now available for pre-order by the Ukrainian military through weapons marketplaces.

The developer, Vyriy, announced this.

It is noted that SOKIL has completed a full cycle of testing and has already proven its effectiveness on the front lines—Defense Forces units are carrying out combat missions with it.

The next step will be scaling up production to provide the Ukrainian military with modern reconnaissance systems.

The drone is already available for pre-order on the DOT and Brave1 platforms, including the option to purchase it using “eBaly” (e-Points – ed.).

The cost of a single drone is UAH 172,000, and a system of three drones together with a ground control station costs UAH 1,117,400.

The drone can remain airborne for up to 2.5 hours and is equipped with a 10x optical zoom with an additional 3x digital zoom, allowing it to detect vehicles from a distance of several kilometers.

Its cruising speed is 75 km/h, and its maximum range reaches 130 kilometers—the exact distance the drone can cover before its batteries are fully depleted. Flight is possible in automatic, semi-automatic, or manual mode using satellite navigation.

The company notes that SOKIL has the potential to become widespread in both production and application thanks to its ease of operation.

The 8-kg drone is hand-launched and does not require complex operator training.

It takes about 20 minutes for a three-person crew to deploy the system.

The company plans to upgrade the Sokil by installing the Ukhilyant system on it so that the drone can maneuver if an enemy interceptor is detected.
