Template:Edit conflict

This template is used to indicate that you encountered an edit conflict when you were replying to a comment in a discussion.

• Adding {{}} produces: (edit conflict)

The number of conflicts you encountered may also be specified as an unnamed parameter to the template.

• For example, {{|3}} produces: (edit conflict × 3)

This template may help to indicate that one is replying to an older state of a discussion and may not take more recent replies into account.
