Template:Wi

Used to generate rows on MCW:Wiki images.

Use {{|start=Name of header}} and {{|foot}} to generate the header and footer of the tables. You may then fill up the rows of the table with images using {{|image-one.png|image-two.png|you-can-put-as-many-images-in-the-list-as-you-like.png|Last param is the usage of the images}}

For example,

Certain options may be used to modify the display style of the headers and content rows.

Images that are pixel art typically use class=pixel-image when transcluding in order to tell the wiki to treat them like SVGs (ie., do not blend or make the pixels blurry). This can be achieved by using the |p=1 parameter (ie., {{|p=1|sprite.png|Description of sprite}})

Some files, such as .woff or .ico files or files located outside of the Minecraft Wiki's File: namespace (ie., those on Wikipedia) do not actually embed properly in tables, and will display the filename instead. To fix this issue, you can use the |norender=1 parameter. For example,

instead of

(as the second File:Favicon.ico is a failed image embed)

Certain images that the wiki uses aren't located on the wiki, but on an external platform. While this template (currently) does not support arbitrary image URLs, an interwiki prefix can be used. For example, the wiki uses the image https://meta.weirdgloop.org/images/Creative_Commons_footer.png, from the Weird Gloop Meta wiki in the footer of everypage. The interwiki prefix in Special:Interwiki for the Weird Gloop Meta wiki is wgmeta:, meaning you can link to the file using [[wgmeta:File:Creative_Commons_footer.png]]. This can be achieved using the |prefix= parameter so

It is reccomended that |prefix= always be used in conjunction with |norender=1.
