HARDCORE WORLD MILESTONE

Day 403

Myself

👁 Image
Probably a souvenir of my 300 day milestone in Hardcore Mode (my skin is complemented by a mod)

Decent chess player, a Minecraft veteran and modder.

My Creations

[edit | edit source]

My personal collection of technical farms and redstone systems that would help make our lives a little bit easier, made with help of external knowledge, feedback and years of gameplay.

Shulker box loader

[edit | edit source]
This design only works in Java Edition and Legacy Console Edition

Before trying, this design uses quasi-connectivity, which is exclusive to the two Minecraft editions above, therefore, it does not work in Bedrock Edition.

This particular shulker box loader uses a precision hopper, which is a must to avoid any inconsistency in the output (item entity shulker boxes moving themselves into an adjacent loader). Precision hoppers are hoppers that pick up a dropped item at the same time as it's created, allowing for 100% reliability.

The design also gives the player an open space to manually position shulker boxes from outside and, additionally, can attach extremely nicely with an item filter.

It can be found here.

Raid Farm

[edit | edit source]
This design only works in Java Edition

Back in 2024, the release of 1.21 nerfed raid farms from producing about millions per hour to just a couple thousand at best. This forced Minecraft experts to design a raid farm adapted to the new raid starting mechanics. In the meantime, I was starting to get into Technical Minecraft, and after a lot of studying on raid farms, finally made one on October 2024.

Later in the same year, 1.21.2 was released, completely changing how raiders spawn and breaking my farm entirely. I think there were rumors of raid farms never existing again at that time. I was very upset about that change and was determined to make a new raid farm design, with the objective of reviving its 1.21 predecessor.

Cleverly, I made an experiment on how raiders spawned from that time forward via command blocks, and discovered that raiders tend to spawn in a consistent pattern with the correct setup, allowing me to finally revive 1.21 raid farms on December 2024 and creating by far the most successful video of my life. I rushed the building process, so its redstone was extremely messy. I, however, eventually figured out a way to over-simplify my Raid Farm and increased rates by roughly 20%.

Unlike a few raid farm designs, mine does not try to replenish ominous bottles, due how it originated. It would have needed a completely different setup.

At this point, my participation toward Technical Minecraft was almost null. My Raid Farm, which I had nicknamed "Seven Raid Farm", had reached the EOL phase. My Discord server, which I had made in order to document my work, could stay inert for months in a row, with no sign of demand.

In 2025, some new raid farm designs were appearing, and they were beyond my knowledge of obscure game mechanics. I had visited one design in particular that looked deceptively simple, yet could produce more loot than "Seven Raid Farm". Both looked similar, but the new one is much smaller and went for a very different approach for spawning the raiders. My design immediately moves mobs off of the spawning area with pistons and nether portals so the game spawns more of them, but instead, the other one accumulates mobs in the spawning area and pushes them off with flowing water and kills ravagers with lava, which was a novelty, considering this method takes much longer to sweep away those raiders, but the game still thinks there are none of them, so it spawns more.

As more technologically advanced raid farms were appearing, I thought less people were going to use "Seven Raid Farm" in favor of the others. Consecutively, demand was slowly decreasing for my work. Less people were asking for help. Less activity on my Discord server. My farm was falling behind. I had less interest on Technical Minecraft over time. It all compounded to me, on March 2026, finally judging my farm deprecated, and my server stale, since the core purpose of it was to document the "Seven Raid Farm".

Not only that, just a couple weeks after, all my YouTube content got hidden with the new parent authorization policy, so no one could watch my advertisement video for the farm, which was also the primary trace of the work I've made. I could have done the necessary steps in order to get my channel back, but I haven't really felt like it.
