Hello everyone! I'm Kolbert (or Kolb). I try to be an active contributor and help as much as I can, although sometimes I can't due to personal reasons (exams, homework, trips...).

I also have a YouTube channel, because ever since I was little I've always wanted to be a Minecraft YouTuber. Even though I don’t have much time to upload videos (I’m currently making a survival series), you can check it out here. But is in spanish.

As for my personality, I’m usually quite positive and try to get along with everyone. However, I can also be quite stubborn, and sometimes a bit vengeful. I can also hold grudges.

On January 4th, while I was bored browsing YouTube, I came across the channel of Louroeiv. In the channel description, there was a link to their profile on this wiki. Out of curiosity, I clicked it. That was the first time (that I remember) I visited the wiki.

But it wasn’t until the next day, January 5th, 2026, that I finally created my account. At first, I mostly edited using the visual editor (because I didn’t know how to use the code editor), but after seeing examples from other users, I gradually learned and became more comfortable with it.

At the beginning, I mainly fixed small details like spelling or grammar mistakes. I rarely made big edits. But I loved it. I really enjoyed contributing to this wiki and being part of it, so I stayed.

Later on, I started completing pages and doing more important work, such as making larger edits, fixing issues, and so on. I also learned how to use templates, which used to confuse me a lot.

Currently, I do a bit of everything, but mainly I complete pages or work on things related to redirects.

I started getting interested in Minecraft when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade (around 7–8 years old), when some friends told me about that blocky game. I asked my dad if I could play it, but it wasn’t until a few months later that I actually started.

The first Minecraft I played was a Scratch recreation (a block-based programming language) called Paper Minecraft, which was a 2D version. I probably played that for less than a year, until my dad installed a pirated version of Minecraft Java 1.4.6.

Two or three years later, a friend from my town told me about TLauncher for the first time. So when I got back home, I installed it with my dad’s help.

When I got tired of using TLauncher, I begged him to buy me the official Minecraft. In the end, he did—but my PC is really bad and lags even with basic things (I couldn’t play versions above 1.16 because they ran at around 15 FPS). The Minecraft launcher would freeze on the intro, so I couldn’t play it properly, and I had to stick with TLauncher.

It wasn’t until February 2026 that my dad bought a new hard drive and we cleaned the PC inside. It didn’t improve massively, but now I can finally play versions like 1.20 or 1.21 at around 40 FPS (before it was 5–10 FPS at best).

So I’ll try installing the official Minecraft again later, when I have time to do it properly. Greetings to everyone.

I’ve always liked Italy, which is why I started editing on the Italian wiki. I’m learning little by little with the help of Duolingo.

I usually make small edits like fixing errors, adding interwiki links, categories, or working with templates.
