i'm trying to get back into LJ after a long absence... and i always forget that while i may not have been reading... things DO change. so many of the 50's, retro, and rockabilly style communities i was watching have gone by the way of 14 year olds asking how to do pin curls, or links to clothing auctions. any tips on where i could find GOOD communities along these lines??
oh, and... i need friends, too. haha. i think a lot of the people i used to follow here have forgotten me by now... i certainly would have! i want to make more retro-obsessed friends... i've got my local IRL rockabilly boys... but absolutely no girls. the boys are no help when it comes to asking if my rolls are even... hah. (they DID all chip in to get me really nice steel-toe boots for christmas, though, so i suppose i cant complain. they look so pretty with fishnets!! hehe.)
oh and... we need to breathe some life into this community again! does anyone other than tania still read this? :)
