hello everyone- i'm amanda and i was just approved to be added to this community. :) i'm 19 and a student at bowling green state university and i have been an r.e.m. fan since the released of new adventures in hi fi- i kinda became a fan "late," some would say. heh. anyway...i an a devout follower of the band and i collect anything i can get my hands on about them. my favorite album is hi fi, and my favorite song rotates- currently i'm digging the dalkey demo of "beat a drum." let's see, what else....i love all the guys, but i will always be a huge mike mills fan- some say i'm borderline obsessive, but whatever :-D i just admire him a ton. in 1999 he threw me his bass pick and i have it framed :-D i guess that's all for my intro....i hope to become active in this community and hear from you all later! :) |

So it seems people are posting in this frequently now. Jill has been posting like a muthafucka about people in here too, but hasn't mentioned me from what I can tell. I'll post for her: "Pete is sad Jill doesn't talk about him." Also, I saw Monte Montgomery tonight again...for the 9th time...and his performance of "When Will I" gave me a raging hard on. It was so much better than the live mp3 from Austin City Limits which is available on mp3.com. Go find it on there and listen, you'll love it. |
