so we got sick of feeling too stupid to post in all the music communities that were out there but, fearing being lynched by readers of our journals, wanted somewhere to talk about music and so here is our community.

we're imagining it may well only be us that post in it, but in the event that we're not, feel free to join. just be aware that we have a strict 'no pretentiousness' rule. this means: if you are going to talk about a band/singer/whatever, don't assume that everyone knows who they are, especially given that we're in different cities and countries with different music scenes. posting on well known bands is completely fine as well; this isn't about proving how great you are because you know some obscure little side-project of some equally non-famous but indie-cred friendly performance 'artist'. however if you do discover said obscure act, we want to know about them.

also posting links to songs and/or photos is a definitely a good idea. we're too lazy to look them up, and we like pictures.
