Frazzle-haired middle schooler Inari Fushimi is less than average; she's painfully shy and horribly clumsy, but despite all this, she is undeniably kind. Running about the winding streets of her hometown, she takes a shortcut through the local shrine and stumbles upon a small fox pup in a river. After rescuing him, she continues on, but from this moment on, her life takes a drastic turn.
Grateful for rescuing the pup, the shrine goddess Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, "Uka-sama," grants Inari a fragment of her power. Now, Inari has the ability to transform into anyone by shouting the magical phrase "Inari, konkon." Could this power also grant her the courage to convey her feelings to her crush, Kouji Tanbabashi? With her new heavenly ability and the fox spirit Kon, Inari forms a sincere friendship with Uka-sama, encounters more of the supernatural world, and learns that true love knows no bounds.

Sometimes a touch of magic is all it takes to find ourselves. In this sweet and extremely underrated magical girl tale, ordinary middle schooler Inari Fushimi gets more than she bargained for after a good deed bestows her with magic. Will her new powers ultimately grant her wish, or will she have to learn to embrace reality?
While weβve seen this setup hundreds of times before, this empowerment story adapted from the 2010 manga offers a relatable female lead, a lovable supporting cast, and heartfelt lessons we all can relate to. Inari is kind, hard working, and determined to change herself for the people she
...
loves, yet also struggles to be honest with herself and makes mistakes. The beautiful animation, sweet character designs, and soft, melodious background tracks greatly adds to the romantic atmosphere. While ultimately the viewer may be hungry for more background, slower pacing, and a complete ending, Inari Kon Kon proves itself as one of best the magical girl genre has to offer.
We donβt need to change ourselves to find true love and happinessβthe true magic lies in us. Check out the manga for a richer and compete version of the story.

Well. This romance anime is probably what you won't be expecting. This anime values the friendship and relationship of each character more than being specific about romantic feelings. Though, sometimes it is good like that. There's always something that I enjoy about this anime, is it because of how thrilling this anime can sometimes be? Or is it because this anime generally has a good conflict every time they have one? Alright, the romance between the main character Inari, and whoever that guy's name is.. is actually quite boring. It's just a typical trope where the female has been simping him for ages, then the

male slowly but surely grows feelings for her, and boom, they end up together at the end. The only good romance in this is actually between Inari's brother Touka and the Goddess. Sometimes I find their relationship interesting, and fun to watch. And I'm utterly disappointed that they don't get any meaningful ending. Anyway, I'm just going to be direct on this one. Here's my rating.

When i finished some new anime, i think about "which story it told me?" and from there i can tell my experience. I cannot tell which was my experience watching "Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha". That anime is the definition of "less is more", it try be so many things but can't be anything. If the anime focus on one simple thing, which would be telling your story, it would have been better.
Story 5/10: The story is simple, show how a human would uses the power of a god. It's simple, show how a human would be reckless and selfish with such power, and they show
...
a patetic romantic comedy that in the end has no meaning for the main plot.
Character 3/10: I can count in my fingers how many characters are be useful. Many disposables and others you don't even remember.
Sound 8/10: The sound is greatl and combine very well with anime.
Overall 4/10: I finished Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha with more questions than answers.
