Lupin and Jigen have their sights set on a treasure worth stealing called the Little Comet which is located in the country of East Doroa. The country has fortified its border after a singer named Queen Malta got assassinated in the neighboring country of West Doroa upon visit.
Despite the two countries being enemies, Lupin and Jigen still plan to steal the treasure. During the heist, Jigen almost got killed by a skilled sniper named Yael Okuzaki. His specialty is preparing tombstones for his targets before executing his kills. Its said that no one has survived after Yael makes a grave for that target.

Lupin III: Jigen's Gravestone
Jigen has met his match. Well more than a match. Jigen is a target for assassination. But Lupin is curious why he is not also on the hit list.
You get to see Fujiko naked in this.
Its not really out of the ordinary since you get to see Fujikoโs breasts a lot throughout the series. But here sheโs extra naked. Her only purpose in this special seems to be fan service.
Zenigata and Goemon are absent from this special.
For the most part this special is kinda pointless. Not bad. I just dont know why it exists.

There is a plot about assassination.
A plot about trying to unify two warring countries East Doroan and West Doroan.
But these plots are more of a backdrop.

5.5/10 - Not as good as "The women named Fujiko series", but its more Lupin iii
So I watched this immediately after finishing L3:TWNFM series, expecting a bit more of the same quality, art and story telling. And tho its technically part of that continuity its a considerable step down in all fields. Very disappointing to say the least, but at the end of the day its on par with most Lupin iii movies of the past, so if you enjoy those you will most likely enjoy this. biggest fan of the over arching series to be completely honest so this just wasnt for me. However L3:TWNFM series is just a complete work of art and I highly recommend that, I just think they are two completely diffrent products and kinda hard to compare.
One of the things that was also a bit weird to adjust to is the English dub voice cast is just diffrent from this movie from that series, jarring to say the least. The art was a step down, similar I guess... but not a spectacle. And the series not having the best writing or story boarding always kept you guessing what was going to happen mostly because it was so weird, and it was more of a origin story more then anything. Where this Movie was extremely predictable as you know the main cast CANT die if it wants to remain at all remotely connected to the main series, which took any type of suspense out of the finally.
This was just good enough where ill probably watch the other 2 movies in this mini series... but atleast I will know what I am getting into this time around.

The premise is so bad and they know it, so much so that they don't even pretend to create a back story or force something from the past. It's just a random backdrop they created to define Jigen as the best gunslinger in the world, amazing that the best way they found to do that was to get a dubious guy to duel him. The big thing about this movie is that if they just wanted to show Jigen's amazing skills to the audience, why didn't they show his backstory???? We are tired of seeing Jigen being amazing in the anime, so much so that

in this story he doesn't even come close to how good he is in the series in fact! It's ridiculous. They even forced a fake kill AAAAAAAAA.
It's so bad, so sad, they even lowered the level and showed a clearly pornographic scene of Fujiko in this disgrace, the character only exists to be naked in all the scenes she appears it's so sad, just in a story that was to finally give the spotlight that Jigen deserved... And the movie ends and I couldn't care less about everything that happened on the screen, the feeling is of lost time.
Total garbage.
