[I never thought I'd say this, but this GOBLIN SLAYER spin-off seems to me very good]

The scoop on this manga is better than the original work. It consists of telling you IN DETAIL the past of the Goblin Slayer, and the development of him while hunting Goblins, and also the manga develops more secondary characters such as the receptionist, or the lancer, and this is important, since one of the biggest problems of the original work is that it already has the protagonist very developed and is very wise and intelligent, that is why the original work does not ... focus on telling his past, but his present adventures.

As for the plot, this tells the tragic past of the Goblin Slayer, in which we can finally see what he was like in his beginnings, see how, unlike now, he only makes pure mistakes, and the interesting thing is to see how he learns from these until to be as he is today .. while he is fulfilling his goal of revenge little by little. By the way, the manga works with one or another secondary character, such as the explanation of why the witch is in love with the spearman, and is that she feels admiration for him and sees him as a hero, that is why she wants to help him and useful series (it is not something very complex, but decent).

Nothing to say about art, the illustration is still as good as the original.

But now we go with the negative, and I said well that it seemed very good, but after reading it it declines. What is very good is the first 30-40 episodes. Where I consider that it declines is after the little witch appears, since it takes a slow pace, it becomes half boring and I do not understand the thread that the story wants to follow, apart from the fact that the drawing becomes normal and nothing interesting happens as before . I'd almost say it's very good, but it actually declined in my opinion.

Yeah, more Goblin Slayer.

Story 7/10.

It's a prequel series about Goblin Slayer's past, along with all the other adventures you'll come across in the main Manga. I feel like this entire prequel should've been part of the main Manga, it's a way better introduction to the series and reveals a lot more about Goblin Slayer and what kind of struggles he went through to develop his skill in combat. It also does a great job focusing on the side characters and really fleshes them out throughout the manga.

Art 10/10.

Just like the main Manga, the art in this is absolutely stunning. For me it's ... definitely up there with my all time favorites in terms of artwork. Every panel in combat is just pure hype and adrenaline. Reflecting Goblin Slayer as he struggles to mow down hordes and hordes of Goblins, and holy hell is it beautiful.

It might not be that impressive when it comes to non combat scenarios, but i feel like that isn't that important when reading a manga about slaying.

Character 7/10.

This prequel definitely gives the characters the development they needed, while also introducing some good new ones. The characters don't undergo any vast changes but they develop enough to make a difference.

Enjoyment 9/10.

The prequel is a great addition to the series. What more can i say? A gorgeous artstyle combined with intense, detailed and highly gory fights. So enjoyable i found myself rereading some of the chapters. Every month waiting for a new chapter is slowly killing me as I want to continue reading.

Overall 8/10.

I had an absolute blast reading this. I mean, i simply love the dark fantasy genre and Goblin Slayer hits the sweet spot when it comes to being edgy. It's not cringeworthy edgy but it's dark enough to keep you interested and invested. If you even remotely liked the main Manga i suggest you give this a read.

One of the best, if not the best, spin-off/prequel I've ever read!

This work is a prequel to the main work, which shows how Goblin Slayer earned his silver rank title and how he learned the tricks he currently uses in the other work. In general, I like this prequel more than the main work for one reason only: Goblin Slayer is much more brutal and merciless, using everything in his power to exterminate the goblins (just like he was in his first appearance in the main work).

In general, this story is about how Goblin Slayer dealt with the goblins before he had companions or soft ... knowledge of various things. This prequel also explains some of the things that happen in the other work (such as Goblin Slayer's knowledge of magic).

I really like both of Goblin Slayer's looks, but the one in this prequel captivated me more because of the more rustic and worn-out way of his clothing.

Overall my grade is 9/10 (both art and history).

Um dos melhores se não o melhor spin off/prequel que já li!

Essa obra é uma prequel da obra principal na qual mostra como o Goblin Slayer conquistou o seu titulo de rank prata e sobre como ele aprendeu as artimanhas que usa atualmente na outra obra. Em geral eu gosto mais dessa prequel do que da obra principal por um único motivo, o Goblin Slayer é muito mais brutal e impiedoso, usando de tudo que estiver ao seu alcance para exterminar os goblins (igual ele era na sua primeira aparição na obra principal).

Em geral essa historia se trata de como o Goblin Slayer lidava com os goblins antes de ter companheiros ou conhecimento brando de diversas coisas. Essa prequel tambem explica algumas das coisas do que acontecem na outra obra (como por exemplo o conhecimento do Goblin Slayer sobre a magia).

Gosto muito dos dois visuais do Goblin Slayer mas o dessa prequel me cativou mais pelo jeito mais rustico e sofrido de suas vestimentas.

Em geral minha nota é 9/10 (tanto de arte como de historia).
