With Wataame waiting for him at home, Inukai's days are more pleasant than ever. Still, he stays in touch with Hoshi so he can share cute moments with the small dog. One day, the two meet in a park, where Hoshi shares that he was a dog in his past life, and he believes it was Inukai who saved him. Inukai questions this but does not stop Hoshi from paying back his debt the best way a former dog can: by ensuring that Wataame receives the best care possibleโeven if that means living in Inukai's home.
