HAIII SONAL :D
thank you for wishing me a happy birthday :)
and my bad because of the last misunderstanding i’m just bad with sarcasm sometimes especially if it’s through a screen since i can’t see the other person’s facial expression or hear their tone so your message made me anxious that’s why i replied that way but i’m glad we’re good now :) how have you been?
Talco_Najja Apr 8, 2:08 PM
I don't usually assume people are being strongly opinionated

very positive indeed, that's great sonal ✨✨
language like English which is considered a more formal language by those who speak it as a second language

I would define it as a more closed and less expressive language
IDK what to do about that :(

HAHAHHA the sad face
nahhh there’s nothing to be do about that

so here's a Wiki page that is full of relevant statistics for you

THankksss sonal
Hmm if we want to actually understand those statistics, we have to look at each category separately.
Take forcible rape, since that’s the one you are more invested. The high percentage of male offenders (in the U.S) is influenced by a mix of biological and social factors. On average, men have greater physical strength, which makes certain types of violent offenses more feasible.
But that’s not the whole picture. Male victims are significantly less likely to report sexual assault due to stigma, disbelief, and social pressure. There’s also a narrow definition of what “counts” as rape in many legal systems, often centered on physical force, which can overlook other forms of coercion like manipulation, intimidation, or abuse of power
So these numbers don’t prove that men are inherently violent, they reflect how different factors: biological, social, and legal, shape both behavior and reporting

Feel free to tell me the context of nearly 99% of men committing rapes in America

HAHAHHA that’s a misleading way to frame it sonal. It’s not that 99% of men commit rape, it’s that a high percentage of those who commit that crime are men
Those are completely different things. Even if a small number of individuals were responsible, it could still appear as 100% male without saying anything about men as a whole

What does that mean? Is that sarcasm? I am confused.

Something like that
I noticed how little you were replying to Luciana compared to how much she was writing. You even reply more to me, and I mean, it makes me feel incredibly honored butttttt still, you should put a bit more effort into responding to her, please sonal 🙏🙏
BTWWW I watched all the lamb demon lord anime, I enjoyed it although the page where I saw it had transitions between the shorts, which ruined the pacing 😭😭

But who created the system

Patriarchy has not been created by a singular group, nor is it being upheld by a singular gender; it is not a conscious decision we make but a system that permeates our societies to their heart.

and who benefits from it the most?

Nobody does, everyone is worse off for it. I agree that women by far have it worse under patriarchal systems but to think that men were actually profiting here would mean making the sexist's position a logical one, after all, if this horrible system truly did leave them better off, why would they not uphold it? No, it's worse for everyone and that's precisely why everyone with enough education, no matter their gender or identity, ends up on the feminist side, not with Nazis in the basement.

Would you rather I blame patriarchy for the action of grown men who did violent things knowingly to other people

You can't knowingly make mistakes. If you know it's bad for you, you don't do it. Their shitty behaviour speaks to their own ignorance, and this is not a double standard on my part, this is the case for literally everyone. That doesn't mean that we can't act on the problem, if they truly are violent than they need to be separated from the greater population and risk groups.

(including young boys and animals)

This is an appeal to emotion, and I am not saying this as an attack on you, after all, even if it speaks to some ignorance on your part you could have hardly chosen it. No, my point is only that we should not let our decision-making be effected by our emotions, instead we should understand that our emotions are the valuable thing here and that the best way to maximize our own happiness is to turn off the feels when we are trying to have constructive dialogue. Are children and animals being hurt? Obviously, that's tragic, that has to change, but those two are problems we need to engage with as rationally as everything else, with statistics and data instead of stories.

thus absolving them, or in the very least, minimizing their decision to be violent?

What does ‘absolving them' mean in this context? If they are dangerous we lock them up and do all we can to fix their brains. If you want to see them punished than I think that's a problem on your part or rather society's expectation to see those suffer who we deem the origin of another suffering. The problem is that punitive justice doesn't work, just as corporal punishment doesn't. You won't make them better people by making them suffer, and you won't make society any better by following that desire for supposed justice. Focus on how we can improve things, how we can keep effected populations safe and make the future a better one, instead of some vendetta. Wanting to see suffering repaid isn't going to do you any good, if anything it will only make you bitter and spiteful.

I think we actually agree on one thing, politics is about action. Where we disagree is on what counts as “real” action.
Voting is one form of action, yes. Protests, dharnas, organizing also action. But so is shaping discourse, raising awareness, and influencing how people think. Social change doesn’t start at the ballot box, it starts with conversations, narratives, and public pressure. Even the movements you’re talking about didn’t just appear out of nowhere, they were built on people “just talking” first.

Also, I’m not sure why you’re drawing such a hard line between people who protest and people who speak. Not everyone has the same level of access, safety, or freedom to participate physically and that doesn’t make their political opinions any less valid.
And about the “if you don’t act, you don’t deserve an opinion” point, I strongly disagree. Having a political opinion comes from being affected by policies, not from how publicly you perform activism. By that logic, a huge portion of the population wouldn’t be “allowed” to have opinions, which doesn’t really make sense in a democracy.
On the minority point, yeah, Muslims are numerically large, but politically and socially, “minority” isn’t just about numbers. It’s also about representation, power, and vulnerability. Not just to muslims but all to all the other minorities you mentioned, I just gave my example. That’s more what I was getting at.
Also, when you say “Khan Market gang,” what exactly do you mean? I think that kind of generalization shuts down more discussion than it adds to it.
I’m not sitting around doing nothing, I engage, I question, I discuss, and I stay informed. And don't generalize me as the one who just talks politics, that's NOT my idea of activism, maybe in the future my idea of activism would include voting, but for now I would like to take different measures for the same.
Talco_Najja Apr 7, 1:25 PM
Hi. The reason for my late reply is that I literally forgot I had to respond to your comment ;/

HAHAHA is okay, no problemo
I didn't think your responses were harsh at all. Why would you think that?

Nahhh, I was only assuming that because you interpret it as me devaluing the woman’s suffering
Is it bc they were strongly worded?

IDK, everything sounds strongly worded in english to me
I don't expect men to respond positively to the image

why not?
they never have any justification for violent criminals globally (97% or more) being men.

welllll
to make such strong claims, you need to cite sources and, more importantly, understand their context

they aren't ready for that conversation.

that sounds like an appeal to a self sealing argument
I’d actually be interested in hearing that conversation, but I get the feeling you’re not big on explaining things, adding color to the letters takes work, so I get you
I guess I’ll miss out sadly
kyoumashi Apr 7, 10:26 AM
I get what you're saying about action, but what my point was it to say that voting isn’t the only form of political participation.

For me, the issue is that voting often feels like choosing the “least bad option” rather than someone who actually represents my values. That doesn’t feel like meaningful participation it feels like compromise at a structural level.

Not voting, in my case, isn’t apathy, it’s more like a lack of representation. I’d rather engage critically with politics than participate in a system where I don’t feel genuinely represented. As someone whose from a minority, it’s hard not to feel like my vote doesn’t carry much weight, especially in a system where large sections of voters can be swayed by religious extremisim instead of policy. That makes the whole process feel less about informed choice and more about mass influence.

Also, political engagement includes a lot more than just voting. It includes things like:

speaking about social issues
shaping public opinion
activism
holding systems accountable

These things influence culture and policy long before votes do.

And I don’t think choosing not to vote automatically means I’m okay with the status quo. Sometimes it means I’m not satisfied with the choices being offered.

something psychological, and not spooky horror but actual good spine chiller intense kinda horror would be fine or extreme intense hardcore bl or set in an royal setting if they dont make out
just watching too much japanese ccartoon made me say sorry controllably, lmao, i just have a habit to do that, instead of not apologising its better to forgive/forget but with apologise that gives self satisfaction too
kyoumashi Apr 7, 4:28 AM
That's the thing, "for someone whose politics you believe in" , there isn't any one whose politics I believe in
Also just because I don't vote doesn't mean I don't have the right or there's no point in having political opinions
Politics is way more than just voting parties

I was too exhausted to reply to comments previously, since we also had Hari Raya right after Lunar New Year - I don't celebrate it, but the company I work for is always busy during festive seasons. I recently also booked a diagnosis assessment for my son because me and my husband kinda suspect that he actually has ADHD.
Lucianael Apr 6, 4:17 PM
Hope you don't mind me tuning in on your discussion with Talco... if you do, I guess just don't respond.

I agree that masculinity as a social characteristic is central to the problem at hand, but don't you think that framing this not a systemic issue but one of "men" complicates discussion? I am not saying that this frame is necessarily fully incorrect, just that manhood is unfortunately a thing the group you describe sees a lot of value in, and thus I wonder how much talking about is made more difficult by attack them as individuals for it, instead of the patriarchy as a construct.

Reading it again, I'm guessing this is just the same old argument about populism again, where you would say that this characterization is necessary for a movement to function, as nobody, especially not the average straight cis head guy talks about "the patriarchy", and so invoking some common enemy is necessary. Then my question would become, isn't "men" too far-reaching a group to make for a functional antagonist while still allowing for the creation of a tent in opposition?
InternetAngelAme Apr 6, 10:23 AM
yep. i need recommendation, im truly sorry and thanku, but the whole convo got a little wierd for me with the mixup of talking about multiple shows and such.

I prefer movies over series tbh, i will have 2 place my first vote in 2028, from current conditions i feel like i shouldnt vote, veto vote or the one that is in foreign where you can reject all candidates asking for better and newer ones to be brought
InternetAngelAme Apr 6, 8:57 AM
but I still find it fascinating you'd rather hate a girl for being a bitch than a man for being a pedophile.

From this statement i concluded that you think i support pedophilia

I'm just surprised the Violet movie is your favourite. The lead pair has its romance blemished with pedophilia, and just bc she's 18 doesn't make it okay for her to marry a 30 something year old. That's still him being a groomer. I genuinely wanted to like the show, esp bc of its stunning visuals, but pedophilia is something I can never get behind.

I just wanna say violet film is not my favourite and it freaking never will be. I like the other violet film because of the unrequirted yuri undertones and the sister bond undertones in the later half. I like violet series but not the conclusive film. I just got a little annoyed because what i was trying to say didnt get conveyed. It felt like one of those moment when someone is tryna proove ur a mysognist or a pedo supporter, so i got ragebaitted, im sorry, its kinda like those situation when a female cop is beaten in the movie and u laugh its always about their gender or age, those damn feminist who do not even know its history and just want to blame you for being a man + I dont wanna talk about violet anymore, i wanna know if u have watched the dance of the spring, authors new work or not...leave that, did u watch witch atelier

Season 2 is regarded by the best season by many people, i dint mean u sorry for miscommunicating... and that is because of kate and anthony staring at each other for a long amount of time, which people enjoyed? idk

It was more about that u didnt seem to like most of the shows u watched. and i asked u basically to get recommendation miss... + If u talk about some shows i would ofc check 'em out if u liked it. and if u didnt i would prefer to hear u shit talk about those shows cause thats fun

InternetAngelAme Apr 6, 6:57 AM
i rated violet's first movie 10/10
https://myanimelist.net/anime/39741/Violet_Evergarden_Gaiden__Eien_to_Jidou_Shuki_Ningyou
i didnt like the other movie that concluded the series in comparision, i gave in 9/10 while rest of the series 10/10
my god i legit said ew and ick while mentioning violets age below, while talking about the ending, called him a fucking father figure and since i dont want to fuck my dad, i wouldnt wat anyone fucking their dad, so ion fucking shitting goddamn all to hell support it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAQiGh5woag , i still gave it 9/10 because the dead mother story was continued and it felt like a living historical documentary

Damn so should i watch these shows or not, because if u actually really didnt like them, i wont watch it, i will watch santa clarita, since u liked it?
i will watch any 2 of those...Luckiest girl alive, maybe?
My god, Let me highlight all the statement taht i spoke up yet about violet evergarden

Violet from evergarden is my daughter, I never hate her, I h8 man, You seem to have confused my statement

Its a 15 year age gap, Violet got married when she turned 18, She fought in the war as a 14 year old, Still ick, Its like if leon from resident evil married sherry from the 2nd game, ew,,, The people who suggest that in the newest game are disgusting

the guy violet married gave major dad vibes

i havent watched bunny drop and rated the i will fight demon lord for my daughter a low rating because after the show ends the author gets the child and the father to fucking hook up... i have an issue here

I rated violet ki final movie 9/10 because that was the part i liked the least, Rest of the series was 10/10,

so how did u conclude that i support freaking pedophilia? i can never hear out people who say hear me out on kids, so please refrain from making assumtions, thats rude, annoying and one dimensional...

kate marsh is overly supported cause she is indian, she is hated in some regions for being an indian, its about which country u belong to and people from that region would support u, season 2 no where deserves to be called the best season, daphane's obsession was clear because she was the oldest daughter and was inspired by her parents true love, and the younger sister from season 2 was 14-15, she was young and even more sheltered than daphine, her sister kate hid her from most things and coming out in the marriage market she wanted to be her own self. Anthony, the seasons protagnist deserve the hate for literally cheating on her

Now, have u watched the new work of violet gardens author, their isnt an age gap in first pairing, their might be a minimum of 4 year gap in the second pairing
InternetAngelAme Apr 6, 1:54 AM

The people who like bridgerton have very low chances of proving their pointers to me, because for defending a character they make the other character to be the villain, in season 1 the duke screamed a lot at daphine '(main girl) but was hated because she tried to force him to have a baby when he didnt want to only out of spite, had sex with her but always screamed at her or kicked her out, so daphanie taking charge made the season 8.5/10

enough about thsoe shows, what show are you enjoying the most yet if u have started any
