Yeah, I am not even kidding, the temperature was high outside and inside the house hahaha. Still, it was a good night, thanks a lot :)
You are welcome, and don't even mention it; college is a hard time, the least I can do is to offer words that there is more afterwards, even if it isn't in your field. What matters the most is ending up doing something you won't regret.

I know this message will reach you after you receive your results, but I hope everything went well. If something didn't go as expected, which I hope isn't the case, feel free to vent in a private message if you want. All the best on spring break, enjoy it as much as you can.

Same, I finished the first chapter some years ago. I really want to continue it, but I've been busy with work, some projects, and other games. I haven't watched the Netflix adaptation of Devil May Cry, but it looks so good. Dante seems to be quite an enjoyable and funny main character.
I was mostly into PokΓ©mon at first, then I moved into Mario and Zelda, and now I am interested in Devil May Cry, and also the remake of Fatal Frame 2; I never played the original, but it looks quite appealing. I've been recommended to start other big names, such as Red Dead Redemption and The Witcher.

Speaking of mascots, some weeks ago, I was watching the videos of this guy who did reviews on the worst productions on movies and stuff, and aside from one called Empires of the Deep, he talked about this movie, which was apparently going to have lots of brand mascots, but production was such a mess that the final result was entirely trash. I remember liking Mickey Mouse a lot as a kid. In my parents' countryside house, there is the Mickey comforter my mom bought for me when I was in preschool, hahaha.
You have a point there, drinking and smoking are recreational activities, and people tend to ignore the outcomes, while only a psycho thinks starting a fire is something recreational. I don't think there is something wrong with being optimistic about thinking the general population knows that starting fires in wild areas or near towns; I mean, what else is left if we don't think like that?
On the other hand, I do feel talking about people in general regarding harming the planet is outdated; we all grew up thinking our mere presence and actions would be enough to destroy the world, when big companies and old families based their money on destroying the land, the oceans, and the forests. Of course, stopping certain actions at home can contribute, but it won't ever be enough against the real issues.

Nothing hurts the most in the world of anime than leaving a series unfinished. I still have hopes that Nozaki-kun will come back, and Hoshiai no Sora won't ever stop hurting.
I am glad Dorohedoro is receiving another season. I am sure you told us it is one of your favorites. Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't you collecting the physical volumes? Nevertheless, it sucks that it took so many years; it is just like Jigokuraku.
Let's hope you are proven wrong, and the studio will be able to produce a satisfying season for all the readers and viewers. I mean, they have more than a year to produce it.

I know, Winter 2026 had some amazing anime series. There were some amazing ones, as well as some that weren't.
The ones I enjoyed the most are:
-Golden Kamuy S5: I gave the franchise a try in February, and it didn't disappoint. It is one of the best series ever.
-Isekai Office Worker: It is a BL. It had an interesting and detailed world, and the main couple is funny and enjoyable to see.
-Samurai Troopers: I never watched the original series. This one had such an amazing opening song with great visuals. I liked how the five main characters had time to shine and to explain their stories. It isn't a 10/10, but it was nice.
-Tamon's B-Side: It was so funny and ridiculous. I love every single main character.
-JJK S3: Very strong season.
-The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-be Wife: Honestly, it was quite mature. There are multiple couples of different species; the relationship between the main couples was quite steady.
-Sousou no Frieren S2: Great in every sense of the word.
-Dark Moon The Blood Altar: This was so bad hahaha. I swear it was the most Y/N Wattpad thing ever, it feels like something a middle school girl obsessed with Twilight would write. I couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it was.
-Dead Account: Generic shounen, but still nice.
-Ikoku Nikki: One of the best of the season. Emotional, powerful, mature.
-The Daily Life of a Part-Time Torturer: I understand the low score, but it was still funny.

I had a great New Year; thanks a lot, haha. It was a really hot night, the temperature rose like crazy, but it was an enjoyable and uneventful night.
That is a good decision to make, as it shows in every work that you are qualified in multiple areas. Even if you don't end up working in what you study, you can always find a job. Still, I wish you the best in trying to find something that makes you feel fulfilled, as well as receiving a good income in your major.

Oh, that is quite funny in a good way, hahaha. I am glad your friend is coming back, and I am happy you are planning to do stuff.

I know it is going to be hard, but it is almost over; one day you are going to look back and miss those days. The final semester is really exhausting, so I suppose you'll need to take breaks from time to time from here. I wish you all the best in everything C:

Exactly, the game, Octopath Traveler, has eight main characters, which represent a letter on Octopath. Each one of them has different bosses they need to defeat, and during the final quest against the hidden boss, you need to fight against eight different bosses from the main characters' routes. They were more like their deceased versions; they had higher health points, but with all the experience you gather throughout the game, you won't have many issues.
Dark Souls and Bloodborne, good to know. I am currently starting Devil May Cry 1 on the Switch 2, and I am sure it's going to be really hard. Recently, I've been wanting to play games that may be hard; I love RPGs, but maybe it's time for a little change. I am planning to buy the Remake of Fatal Frame 2 if it arrives in physical format in my country.
5 hours? I don't recall the last time I dedicated so much time to a game like that. What is the name of the boss that took at least 20 hours? I am honestly really curious.

There is one mascot in my country that has been quite popular, the only one still standing to be honest; it is the mascot from a pharmaceutical company that sells things cheaper than big brands; they are going to make a movie about him, hahaha.
The thing is, while I do feel it is necessary to have more wildfire educations, how to prevent them, and the numbers you need to dial, I feel that if the teaching became too much, kids will lost interest or even worse; I mean, back in high school, everytime there was an alcohol or smoking prevention talk, we went out an drink or smoke. Plus, in my country, there was a stupid teen who recorded himself starting a fire, and then a weird video with his dad, who talked a lot but said nothing. Still, I agree with you that there is nothing more destructive than fire; it can end everything in seconds - there was a huge wildfire in my country throughout January, and a town I used to visit as a kid was burned down entirely. I swear it, it was a nightmare to watch the videos. I feel that if people catch someone starting a fire, they need to turn their cellphones off, cover every camera nearby, and do what they have to do.

I do feel bad for the people behind One Punch Man S3, but there isn't much to say to defend them, especially since I read they removed quite a lot of significant and important moments. Considering the second part will get released in 2027, I do hope they take all the feedback, whether good or bad or even both, and produce something better. While I am not the biggest fan, I like it when manga are adapted until the end.

You know, this anime season has been quite amazing; I know you are busy and may not be watching it, but there are so many good series. Fall 2025 was a bit disappointing, but Winter 2026 surpassed my expectations.

Don't worry about it; work is work. I can tell you arrived home exhausted, and everyone deserves some time afterwards. By the way, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice celebration, and a great year ahead of you C:
Yes, college is nice; there is no point arguing about it. Exams and assignments can be stressful, but the freedom is undeniably good. Yet, cash is even better hahaha.
Oh, nice, which steps are you taking to build your portfolio?

I think sometimes it's time to move on; the memories will still be there, but only time will tell if friendship is worth keeping or not. Who knows, maybe you will meet again somewhere.

Congratulations! I am so happy to hear that; there is nothing more rewarding than passing all your final tests. I hope everything goes well and you end the year with your diploma in hand.

Yes! I finished Octopath Traveler some weeks ago; it could have been sooner, but I was really busy from Christmas until past New Year. I challenged the final boss, Galdera, whose quest had three stages:
-Fighting eight bosses who were the villains in the eight heroes' stories.
-Then a battle against a giant eyeball that had 500,000 HP.
-Finally, the battle against Galdera himself.
The eight bosses weren't hard, but they required some time. Beating the eye wasn't hard with the right team. Galdera was a nightmare; I got pulverized on my first two attempts and needed to start all over from the eighth boss, as there was no save point. Finally, I followed exactly the guide someone posted on YouTube, and I beat him down. I am still happy!
There were lots of optional bosses who were great, and the designs were amazing. I read Galdera was designed to be a superboss like the ones from older games.
Galdera was on the line of being good and too complicated; if you have the proper level for your characters and the right equipment, then you have a chance at winning. If not, it takes the enjoyment out of the game as he can be defeated at once. Hence, I agree with you, the developers need to have some perspective on how things will play out in the end.

Exactly! You can get angry at them if they cut the call off without giving too much information, but when responders are overloaded with fires all over the city, it's hard to blame them. There have been some fires, but I think most of them have been extinguished so far.
If I am not wrong, my country labels Coipo's as rodents, maybe in the same category as beavers, but they aren't too common in the zone I live in to compare them.
I think that when the mascots cannot fulfil the task, they get put on the bench for a while. I mean, if fires became so big they appeared on the news worldwide, then the conscience of people is not in the right place.

I completely agree; I haven't watched too many episodes of Black Clover, but I know the author has lots of talent and his art is splendid and detailed, yet the adaptation simplified things way too much. And while I haven't read the manga of One Punch Man, I have seen how great the designs and panels are, and the studio took away way too much. I honestly think the second part of season 3 turns out a bit better, considering they skipped so much. I also heard the studio was rushed to finish the project, and it does make me wonder if they could have done something to improve their work, maybe even asking to move the anime to another season.

I honestly miss College at times. I met some good people and some people I am glad I am never seeing again, but I cannot deny that it is way better to get paid hahaha. We always learn one or two things in different ways - we never stop learning.
Oh, those kinds of issues. I am sorry your friend group is growing through that; it is never easy to stop seeing someone you are used to hanging out with. But, and I don't want to sound rude by saying this, thatΒ΄s a part of life - we all end up finding new things or hobbies that keep us away from what was usual. Plus, living alone is also something time and money-consuming. As long as it wasn't a fight or something more serious, maybe you will all meet again.

I hope that by the end of the semester, whatever that is, as I am a bit lost with time, you have succeeded in all of your tests. Nice, it is important to find a moment of peace to just exist outside of tests, exams, and study.
Another friend said Season 1 was better for him since he is a manga reader, but I honestly feel this season of Grand Blue was perfect as it was; I am eager for Season 3.

I have completed the story of six of the main characters; two remain. It has been quite a long journey to finish Octopath Traveler, but I am reaching the recommended levels to beat the final hidden boss. The way he has been presented has been quite interesting.
Hahaha, I have had some optional bosses beating me or making me use some items I didn't want to lose. You know, it surprises me how true it is that some main bosses end up being kind of, how could I say this, not the best? Like, they are supposed to be bosses for something.

Hopefully so, I am reaching Summer, and the firefighters have been crazy these past few weeks. I respect firefighters a lot. I cannot deny I had a bad experience with them during a difficult moment, but considering they risk their lives to save people and wildlife, I can put that aside.
Oh, yeah, we have a mascot that is supposed to teach about the dangers of starting fires; he is a coipo, a type of rodent, who works as a firefighter, park ranger, and nursery worker. He is quite cute, but I haven't seen him much lately, to be honest. His name is Forestin.

I cannot deny that there have been some very bad scenes. You know, I don't know why, but at times I was left wondering how certain scenes would look in the manga, since they felt strong but could have been better, then someone uploaded the manga panel, and I realized it should have definitely been better animated. I feel bad for the studio and the people who worked to make season 3 happen, especially since I read they were working against time, but cmon, with how toxic and harsh the anime community can be, what were they expecting? I read a message from the director who asked for patience, so let's see what is coming ahead.
Hazbyn Nov 1, 2025 7:12 PM
Yeah, I liked it a lot; someone posted an edit with that quote using Rick and Morty, but I don't know if it comes from there or not hahaha.
Hang in there, soon you will be wishing to go back to college.
Oh no, forgive me for asking, but is that code for "I am changing" friends group? If it is, I know the struggle; it is hard to move on, but sometimes it is for the better.

I would love a spin-off with Osaragi, Shishiba, and Nagumo; I feel that trio could be great and strong protagonists. I hope you can take a break soon; remember to rest a bit, even if it is not by watching anime. I was also quite busy during the last season; it was a bit hard to make things fit.
Grand Blue S2's opening song was so good and invigorating, while the ending song visuals were so funny. I feel this season was better than season 1, and I am happy season 3 is already in the oven.

I am currently playing Octopath Traveler, and it has been quite a new experience. Some bosses have been a nightmare, like, at one point, a sub-boss was harder than the real one. I know there is a hidden final boss, but I will need to level up the hell out of everyone for how hard he will be. Still, like you say, beating a hard boss leaves you with such a great sensation.

Exactly! My anxiety makes me way too conscious when I smoke in fear of starting something, and magnifying with a glass is also something I have been scared of accidentally doing, hahaha. And yet, there are people who are way too unconscious and irresponsible to stop for a second to be sure they aren't about to start a wildfire. There are people who take care of their environment before starting a fire to do something, but it is still clear enough that there are lots of people who don't care enough and just want to have fun.

Have you seen the backlash at the new season of One Punch Man? Like, people have been complaining ever since episode 1. Honestly, while not perfect, I feel the fandom is turning into AOTΒ΄s fandom.
Gachikauta has been getting better and better each week. Let me know when you catch up to avoid giving spoilers, hahaha.
Hazbyn Oct 1, 2025 5:01 PM
I like that quote I saw on Instagram a while ago: Everything will be alright in the end, and if it is not alright, it's not the end. Once again, thank you very much for your kind words :)
We talked too much about me. How are you doing? How has life been treating you?

Absolutely, even if it is the stereotypical shounen, that doesn't mean it is bad; I am enjoying Tougen Anki a lot, and I am staying until the end. One of the female characters, Kuina, has become quite popular since the latest episodes.
Osaragi is so good! I would like to see her as a main character on her own series alongside Shishiba.
I finished The Summer Hikaru Died, and it was so good. I haven't read the manga past chapter 14. I left it there for the series to advance without waiting for it. I am so happy the second season was announced immediately after season 1 ended.
The latest episodes of Gachiakuta were quite interesting.
Just after season 2 of Grand Blue ended, season 3 was announced. Season 2 was so funny, it is one of the anime I am considering rewatching in the future.

Ugh, indeed, the rewards for beating a hard boss are so good! Even in the simplest games, defeating the annoying boss grants way too many goods, either money, tools, or weapons. I don't remember the last time I had one of those good doses of dopamine.

Oh no, I know perfectly well how that feels since, during 2017, there was a huge wildfire near us; it was horrible, the fire got inside the property and was in front of us. I am really sorry you had to go through that, and I am happy the firefighters were able to control it. It is amazing how human stupidity increases during dry seasons; there was a video some years ago of a teenager starting a fire on purpose, and for some reason, his friends thought it was a good idea to upload it to social media. Like, hell, even I get a bit concerned when smoking a cigarette, how people who grill cannot cut their grass?

By the way, now that Summer 2025 is over, what are your plans for Fall 2025? Are you going to watch something?
Hazbyn Aug 31, 2025 9:29 PM
Thanks a lot; your words mean a lot :)
I am trying to control what can be controlled, and breathing and trying to calm down to what is within my reach. As someone in a cartoon said, sometimes things turn right.

I understand Tougen Anki may be your typical shounen, but I am a sucker for those series, hahaha. I enjoy the characters; their personalities are varied and funny, there are hateful villains, and I feel the animation so far has been amazing. I am enjoying it quite a lot.
I swear I want to add one character of Sakamoto Days to my favorites, but I don't know who I should choose hahaha; I love Shin, Osaragi, and Seba Mafuyu; the third one I came to like a lot during the airplane battle. He is so funny.
In my country, the subs of The Summer Hikaru Died have been laughable; they changed the meaning as if trying to say he liked Yoshiki as a friend only, unlike the manga, where fake Hikaru explicitly said he liked him. Nevertheless, the anime has been nothing short of amazing; the horror, mystery, and psychological aspects were adapted so perfectly.
I wasn't that big of a fan of the first season of Grand Blue, but this season is everything; it is so funny, and I consider the opening highly catchy.

Did you lose items, money, or something the times you died before fighting the bosses? That can be so annoying; I love The Legend of Zelda and PokΓ©mon, but it can be annoying to lose items and money if you lose the battle. Those bosses that take you so much time to beat, to the point it feels the console needs time off to cool down or to recharge, can be such a nightmare yet so amazing; like, the moment you win, it feels like you won the lottery hahaha.
Yeah, while I feel Zelda, Mario, and PokΓ©mon could do wonders on the PlayStation, it would be almost next-level. The Zelda Switch games are amazing; I have only finished playing Breath of the Wild, but it was an experience.

I think there were some unusual ocean movements on the shores, but fortunately, nothing bad happened; it was annoying, I won't deny that, but nothing happened, which is to be thankful for. Wildfires are also common in my country. The summer can be a nightmare; Christmas falls in Summer, and I still remember last year when we were celebrating and there was fire coming from afar. Turned out a man prepared grilled meat, didn't cut the grass, and it caught fire.
Hazbyn Aug 10, 2025 11:22 PM
I must admit, things have been a bit hectic, but I am trying to keep it together; I'm okay, haha.

Tell me your opinion when you finish it; there is another battle of bands, and I swear I never rooted so much for the main characters to win. I hope it receives a second season. I feel there is a lot they can do.
I completely agree, this season is packed with amazing new anime; Grand Blue S2, Nube 2025, Dandadan, Tougen Anki, Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku, and Gachiakuta are my favorites so far. I donΒ΄t know why, but I am almost glued to Tougen Anki.

I have never played Elden Ring, but it is one of those games I always know someone who plays; what is it about? I know the game is available on the Switch 2, and I am thinking whether to buy one or not hahaha. Wuthering Waves is something I have never heard before, mainly because I haven't played a Gatcha game before, though I have come to know that they are quite popular.
I haven't been a fan for a long time, maybe for two or three years, but I know The Legend of Zelda is amazing. Like, there is a game for everyone; if you like open-world games, you are going to love Breath of the Wild.

Tell me about it. In my country, the alert for tsunamis sounded at least four times; most people were angry with the alarm that rang at 2:58 AM, announcing there was no alert anymore. Still, I feel bad for the Russian citizens; my country is known for its natural disasters, so I understand how harsh it can be.

It's nice to see those friends after a long time, to see that nothing has changed. I am glad to hear you had a great time. These days, some moments to enjoy and relax are the best.
Hazbyn Jul 31, 2025 8:53 PM
First of all, thank you so much for your message, I really appreciate it; I have a good day, I celebrated it on Friday before, then on Monday, and finally on Tuesday, the actual birthday hahaha.
Second, I am sorry for replying so late; I was really busy during July, every day there was something to take care of.

Indeed, Rock is a Lady's Modesty was splendid, and my favorite anime of Spring 2025; I was waiting for the final episode so much because a band of idiots appeared, acted as if they owned the place, and I was looking for spoilers everywhere to see who was going to win the battle band hahaha.
Witch Watch caught my attention a bit, but I didn't watch it; maybe I'll give it a try on Netflix.
Same here, my list is quite big, I think 13 or 14 anime for this season, including newer series and sequel seasons.

Really? Which games have you been playing? I recently bought a second-hand copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and just like former Zelda installments, I don't know what I am doing hahaha. Still, I enjoy this franchise quite a lot.
I read the weather conditions are getting kind of worse every day in the US, so I hope everything goes well.
No, I am not on vacation yet. I don't like traveling, I enjoy reading, playing video games, going out with my family to eat, and hanging out with friends.
Hazbyn Jun 30, 2025 9:32 PM
You are welcome, I hope you had a wonderful day C:

I caught the flu and I am finally recovering, so I can't complain. I've been watching anime as usual hahaha; this season I didn't pick many to watch since there weren't many that caught my attention. The best one in my opinion was Rock is a Lady's Modesty.
I am extremely eager for the next season though, there are lots that I am eager to watch.

How about you? How has life been treating you? Have you been able to travel?
