Definitely an older anime fan now that I'm in my forties...yikes!
I'm a bit of a sucker for cute yet badass characters as my lists can probably attest to. However I would like to think I have a bit of a diverse taste when it comes to my anime. I like both dramatic anime and standard shounen though I tend to lean more one way than the other but it doesn't mean I won't watch it.
Grew up with anime such as Pokemon and especially Dragonball Z back in the Toonami days! Branched into it properly through things like Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh!
I'm proud of what I've managed to amass on the old watched list as it's something I've been doing for about 20+ years of my life and possibly 20+ more as I don't believe there is an age cap on appreciated good animation and stories.
I play the odd visual novel here and there too when I have time with a particular fondness for a lot of the Key classics such as Little Busters and Rewrite. My personal favourite visual novel being G-Senjou no Maou which I still think has the best soundtrack in pretty much anything I've watched or played.
