Chasing heart‑melting romance ❤️

I am hypnotized by romance anime. The love and conflict between characters, along with the feelings of loss and rivalry, are my sources of gratification. Whenever I feel unsatisfied, I dig deeper into the original source by reading manga and playing visual novels. When I look back, I realize my list is already filled with romance stories from different genres, demographics and themes.

Hence, I am always looking for true love in anime - a truly authentic and reflective romance. Both shounen and shoujo romance suit my taste. My favorite romance anime are CLANNAD, Toradora!, and Fruits Basket, but if you check further, you will see that I adore classic romance anime. How many anime you could recognize below?

Oh hi! Hmm, if its about anime with romance label, then Kaguya-sama is on my top 10. Although romance is not the dominant reason why I love it. But, if its about anime with couple development that I like, then, its You & I are Polar Opposites, I Have a Crush at Work, Tsuki ga Kirei, and The Angel Next Door.

"No, the pleasure is all mine! I absolutely love that anime The Rose of Versailles is a masterpiece, believe it or not. About what you said regarding Lady Oscar totally! I always thought she was real because she’s surrounded by so many historical figures, but then you look it up and find out she’s fictional 😂. Still, her bravery makes her feel so real.
I still need to watch the movie on Netflix (the remake they announced recently looks amazing, the visuals are on another level) It’s so cool that you have a small collection! All I have are a few Chainsaw Man figures and a kawaii Goku even though they’re totally different styles, they look great on the shelf 😊
And about Oniisama e... (Dear Brother) have you seen it? :3 It’s another classic by Riyoko Ikeda, and the drama is just intense!

Although I've downloaded the vn of Rewrite, I wasn't really feeling motivated to play it. So I thought maybe I should watch the anime after all. But you caught me at the right time.

Also, Little Busters was really good, although I could feel the lack of both proper pace and explanation many times. Nevertheless, it will be one of my favorite shows. It's not about the story, what I found the most charming about this show is the portrayal of the school setting, the friendship bonds and the fun times. This is exactly what most school romance anime miss. I could find myself indulging in those moments.

Hi! My favorite romance stories are Skip Beat, Gakuen Alice, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, and Kare Kano. :) What are yours? And of course, I loved the Kare Kano anime so much that I went straight to the manga!

Hi... I have so many to choose from. It depends on my mood. I could choose Shirayuki-hime, and Nina the Starry Bride (both are my favs). I also love the Fragrant Flower manga. It's really really good.
