Currently full-time Slice of Life/Cute Girl Doing Cute Things anime fan, part-time doing a little bit of everything that I find enjoyable.
Besides anime, I love learning and improving my English. I'm now pretty confident on delivering my opinions to you in this relatively easy language. Don't be afraid of pointing out my mistakes here and there though.
I love Slice of Life anime, especially the ones that inspire you to pursue your own dreams and interests. However, this message should be well-hidden that the anime can surprise its audience, as careless execution will make certain characters self-centred, narrow-minded and heavily depend on main character's power.

Instead of watching through anime and rating them case-by-case, I rate based on what an anime can accomplish under its genre. It is a harsh reality as there are more popular action and fantasy anime with better budget than that of mostly hidden Slice of Life anime. Therefore, lower budget anime is, of course, at an unwanted disadvantage just because they don't have enough to deliver beautiful art. That's the reason I categorize an anime first before I rate, in order to dismantle this reality.
There are other factors as well, such as music, animation, and most importantly, a well-crafted story.
Do not take my ratings too seriously, as there is also the personal enjoyment factor in there too. =w=
