This review is a rewrite from memory of one I wrote on another site. That site is gone now. The user base hated Seol-Jin and the author with a passion around the time I jumped off, which actually resulted in no one updating it for sometime. I don't even remember what chapter I stopped on. It was right after just that the final tournament was announced. Arthur and the stupid triangle killed any development or interest that could have been had with the series.

duel masters is one of my favorite anime/manga franchises [but its horribly overlooked due to language barrier OTL] so i highly recommend it! it's actually a great way to learn japanese [kanji specifically] as every volume of the mainline era has furigana.

i'm by no means fluent but reading hobby manga + watching raws [as well as tokusatsu live] has helped with japanese a lot lol
