I'm fine with you hating on Elfen Lied (even though the most popular critics on the site have it slapped neatly in their favorites) and giving it a terrible score, and either way your taste is pretty good. But, please, PLEASE, no, NEVER, hate on the fanbase. It just makes you seem like a dick.

Heh, you're aware that Gordeau was one of the dirtiest fighters in MMA history? In his match against Royce Gracie, he bites him on the ear. This in turn causes Royce not to relinquish the choke at the end. When Royce gets up after the referee finally convinces him to let go, he is clearly pissed off and you can see his ear bleeding. However, all of that pales when compared to his fight against Yuki Nakai. Nakai ended up being completely blind in one of his eyes because Gordeau gouged it out with his big toe (Nakai was around Gordeau's leg for most of the fight, trying to get a heel hook).

Also, best of luck at CEO, man! Are you planning to do a lot of money matches? That would definitely be the most unique entrance theme of any player, too.

Heh, this reminds me of the non-stop rants and complaints of a certain DarkSydePhil against that game...

It says a lot that Harold Clarence Howard was one of, if not the most notable guy in an era where Joe Son wasn't considered too bizarre, and Big Jon Hess and Gerard Gordeau were relatively normal. In fact, I wish Howard had taken a page out of Hess's book and vowed to destroy the UFC fighters sometime in the 2000's. Before the whole crashing through a casino in 2009.

I love quoting his signature line myself, although it doesn't look as cool when I pull off my clip-on shades.

Congrats on the Tekken success! The only game in the series that I played and learned to a respectable competitive level was Tekken 3; I sometimes wish I had focused on that series more than 2D fighters. Are you going to Evo this year?

And yeah, there have been some tough patches for me too in the past few years, but as the saying goes; "tough times don't last, but tough men do".

He's one of my absolute favorites from that time period, although I think "Polar Bear" Paul Varelans will always be number one in my heart.

that's not exactly the point, in response to your first sentence, you should understand before that i do believe opinions exist, and that a person disliking what i like is as common as people having different hair length, but my opinion on your review is that what you wrote was biased, i'm not trying to be childish, but unfortunately you're being immature and not even reading what i say, further proving my points with your mass use of the word 'Kid' and considering age to be a form of judgement of maturity, you're being incredibly childish and biased in your speaking, which is really unfortunate. please read what i said before, and if you can't. then i'll say it for another time, Disliking what another person likes is fine, but calling said thing 'worst thing in the world' objectively is just being childish, that's all that i have a problem with, now stop taking the role of the wise 'older person', adult.

it's rather immature to use age as a form of judgement you know, If you dislike something it wouldn't exactly mean that it's trash, and liking something doesn't mean it's glorious either, i have no problem with people disliking shows i like( which is often ) but you seem sarcastic with the amount of hate you put into your review/ Comments ( 'I dont argue with kids' is very mature by the way. )

Oh yeah? What's the link? I tried to visit Fanoff.com itself, but my antivirus warned me it was a phishing website. And I like some animated works that aren't anime, too. For instance, I love claymation as a medium.

Indeed, it has been a while! I've been okay; turned 30 recently, which I minded less than turning 28. How have you been?

In terms of anime/manga, I haven't watched or read anything significant in a long time, although I would like to change that. Still, I haven't even been watching that many live action movies or TV series (although I did go through the first 6 seasons of "Game of Thrones" recently); been trying to concentrate on reading more books.

Anything significant I've missed in terms of recent anime series that I should watch? I know about older works, like Texhnolyze or Legend of the Galactic Heroes...

Bruh, Baccano is amazing I'm glad you finally got round to it, it's some of the most fun I've had with anime ever. Also Ladd Russo gets points alone entertainment wise.

Hey man, if you're re-watching Durarara, make sure to watch Baccano, it's made by the same author and studio, and it shares many similarities im how the story is set out (jumps from one set of characters to the other) in my opinion, it's better but that's all down to preference as my sister prefers Durarara. Also having a GF that's into anime sounds awesome.

Also how is Eureka Seven? I'm 10 episodes in, and whilst I do like it, some of the episodes have been filler, and very average filler at that, I hope it gets much better because I've heard great things, visually and music wise the show is beautiful.
