I've heard anecdotes to the effect that fantasy books has been outselling science fiction books in the United States in the last few years. Does anyone know where I could find information to confirm or deny this claim? All the sales statistics I'm able to find online treat fantasy and sci fi as one genre so it doesn't help me. I need your nerdish help!

I don't think I've posted here before, but I am a huge nerd.

Despite my love of Isaac Asimov (particularly the Foundation series), I never got around to reading I, Robot until a couple weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good and now for some reason I want to catch a matinee of the new Will Smith movie of the same name. I am prepared to be entirely disappointed and wonder what, if anything, the movie has to do with the book. I'm pretty much expecting a stupid action movie that is only called I, Robot because it mentions the Three Laws of Robotics once or twice. I figure if I have really low expectations, I won't be too disappointed.

Is anyone an Asimov fan who saw this movie? Is it worth the trouble?
