lolita_complex @ 3:53pm: i'm new last night while working at my waitressing job, i happened to meet another vegan. she told me about this VEGAN chocolate store. i went there today and everything is amazing!!! it's called Divine Treasures, and it's located in the manchester parkade in manchester, CT. next to the health food store. they have truffles, "snickers", peanut butter bars, fudge, all in all about two cases full of purely vegan chocolates! also they have a huge gluten free and sugar free selection. its all hand made by a very nice lady in a very humble store front. unfortunately i dont know how much advertising is going on, or how many people even know about it, but everything is awesome so spread the word and go try some if you're in the area! anyone else from CT? lightningsparks @ 9:47pm: If you're north of DC and east off the Mississippi, there are twenty roller derby leagues. If you want the best, you have two choices: Gotham Girls Roller Derby in NYC and Providence Roller Derby in Rhode Island. On August 26th, they're going head to head for the first time in front of your very eyes. These women don't have money or glamour on the line (well maybe a little glamour), they're fighting for pride. Oh yes, there will be blood, and a lot of sweat, but not a single tear. There is no crying in roller derby. Music to keep us amped by DJ Morgan Louis (Pop! Providence, Hearthrob Boston). Performances by The Chainletter (Boston) SEE YOU SOON! 14th August 2006

gothamauctions @ 8:08pm: Health products and Organics at wholesale prices
Hello everyone! I've recently had the fortune to work with a store whose products and principles were very closely entwined with my own beliefs and aesthetics. This store was a small health and organic products shop in Queens, NY. The store's owner was re-locating quickly and did not have the time to keep up her shop, so she called on me to help her liquidate her inventory. As a result, I have a large number of items for sale on eBay at: http://stores.ebay.com/gotham-auctions We decided to keep everything at wholesale cost, or as close as possible, so this is a great opportunity to get these products at drastically reduced prices. You'll find lots of major names in the organic and natural products industries, organic family farms, alternative eco-friendly cleansers and baby products, and much more.
Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone else who may be interested! Thanks! http://stores.ebay.com/gotham-auctions 20th September 2005

Rent is $500/month with heat, hot water, and electricity included. We split the cable modem bill and would consider sharing a phone line and cable TV. The value for this size apartment is incredible!
