A community for gardeners in the San Francisco Bay Area and all of Northern California A place to share photos, swap seeds and other garden wares, suggest nurseries, discuss gardening problems, and talk about how to garden in our wacky but wonderful climate. Everyone is welcome, including new gardeners, inexperienced gardeners, urban gardeners, indoor gardeners, outdoor gardeners, farmers, gardener wannabes, and people whose gardens consist of a single half-dead houseplant. Do not join just to promote a community, whether it is related to gardening or not. The post will be promptly deleted. 3. In keeping with The Livejournal Terms of Service, this community cannot be used to "promote or provide instructional information about illegal activities" (and yes, that sadly includes marijuana cultivation) 4. No flaming. You will be banned for inciting or participating in flame wars. 5. This list is an appropriate place for bartering for garden-related supplies (seeds, pots, soil) or selling garden supplies locally. But please keep in mind our goal is not primarily to be a marketplace. Please do not solicit donations or sell items that are not related to local gardening. 6. Off-topic posts will be deleted.
