A Goldbug number is an even number 2m for which there exists a subset of the prime non-divisors of 2m, P={p1, p2, p3, ..., pk}, such that each prime factor of (2m-p1)*(2m-p2)*(2m-p3)*...*(2m-pk) is in P and max(P) is strictly between m/2 and m.

J. Stauduhar: so, in the example for 128, "...(23^2)*29*37*41 and 59 in the interval..." should be "...(23^2)*29*37*41, max(P)=59, and 59 {is} in the interval..." -- "is" is missing currently.

J. Stauduhar: or perhaps, "...(23^2)*29*37*41, and we observe that each prime factor is in P, and that max(P) = 59, which is in the interval..."

J. Stauduhar: Thank you. I think I understand now. In my example, I chose P=[3,5] but 41 emerged when factoring, and 41 is not in P, so my choice of P is not valid.

Arthur O'Dwyer: Clarified title even further. P is "the subset," not "the prime non-divisors."
