OpenTelemetry (OTel) is an open source, vendor-neutral observability framework that supplies APIs, SDKs, and tools to instrument, generate, collect, and export telemetry data (metrics, logs, and traces). Datadog has made significant contributions to the project and continues to expand product support for OTel.
