Cooperation with Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, Brno
We are pleased to announce a new cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University (FI MU), reinforcing secure and trustworthy cryptographic software, research, and education. Effective January 1, 2026, we joined the Association of Industrial Partners at FI MU as a Small and medium enterprises member to foster closer collaboration with students and researchers, in areas of mutual interest, including cryptographic algorithms, security protocols and all aspects of the OpenSSL Library and its deployment in real-world environments.

FOSDEM 2026: Connecting Security and the Open-Source Community
On January 31 and February 1, the OpenSSL Corporation participated in FOSDEM 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, joining over 8,000 hackers and developers at the ULB Solbosch Campus for one of Europe’s most significant free and open-source software events.

We Celebrate the Success of the Inaugural OpenSSL Conference in Prague

This was the first time in the history of the OpenSSL Project that the full community met in person.
