This is a community for showing off, requesting and making R.E.M. icons, and just talking about the greatest band since bread came sliced. A prize for anyone who can tell me when that was.
There are only a few rules, mostly the usuals:
- When using icons, comment and credit the maker. - You can request icons/colourbars/other graphics at any time, but please don't just join to do that - try making some for others to share. - Try to stay on topic, though you don't have to just post icons - you can talk about anything to do with the band. - 'Play nice.' Debates on the band's politics etc. are welcomed, but don't turn them into catfights. - Before making a request, have a look at the archive in 'memories', where all icon posts are recorded, and see if there's something similar to what you want already there. - We don't discuss the band members' personal lives. The rules about this are pretty much the same as on Murmurs. Deal with it, move on.
