Does music inspire the scenes you write? Are there songs that just fit your characters? If so, this is the place to share that music, with fellow players from your game and others.
This community is for roleplayers (probably moreso of the online variety, but LARPers and tabletop gamers are welcome to participate) to share the music that inspires their stories and characters. It is *not* a place for sharing the soundtracks of RPG games for your videogame console of choice. It is also not the place for fan soundtracks to those games - that belongs on 👁 Image fst, which is a great community to check out. However, if you are in a roleplaying game based off of a video game fandom, or in a MMORPG and want to share songs related to your experiences, jump right in.
1. The lj-cut is your friend. [lj-cut text="my soundtrack"]Your song links and explanations go here.[/lj-cut] is the format, only with < > brackets. Learn it, love it, use it.
2. Keep all images PG-13, including LJ icons. This goes double for anything that isn't behind a LJ cut (ie. icons). Some people use the internet at work, some have kids, and some people just don't want to click on their friends pages and find nude pictures. Please be considerate.
3. While I will forgive errors (after all, we are all human), abuse of the English language will not be tolerated. That means no chatspeak, no l337, and taking the time to actually use these marvellous things called spelling and grammar. Also, format your posts so that they're not a big block of text.
4. Spammers will be drawn, quartered, flayed, tarred, feathered, and then banned. Same with trolls.
5. No flaming. Not everyone's going to like one another, but I expect everyone to behave civilly to one another. Keep any bad blood private and out of this community.
