The cost to sell on Amazon depends on your selling plan, product category, fulfilment strategy, and other variables. The options are flexible, so you can find the combo that works best for you and your goals.

Selling plan

The Individual plan costs 4 zł per unit sold, and the Professional plan costs 165,91 zł (excl. VAT) per month no matter how many units you sell.

Referral fees

Amazon charges a referral fee for each item sold. The amount depends on the product category. Most referral fees are between 8% and 15%.

Fulfilment fees

The cost to ship your orders depends on whether you fulfil your own orders or use Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA).

Other costs

Some selling partners may incur additional fees (such as long-term storage fees) or pay for optional programmes like advertising or premium account services.
2026 Updates to European referral and Fulfilment by Amazon fees
In 2026, we will make one of our largest-ever fee reductions, lowering fees by an average of 0.68 zł per unit sold in our European stores.

Effective January 5, 2026, in all European stores
  • We have reduced referral fees for Home Products (new category) from 15% to 8% for items priced at and up to 85 zł, Pet Clothing and Food from 15% to 5% for items up to 40 zł and Grocery and Gourmet and Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (new category) from 8% to 5% for items up to 40 zł.
  • We have extended our reduced Low-price FBA rates in most categories to products priced at or below 85 zł, lowering FBA fees for these newly eligible products by an average of 1.80 zł per unit.

Getting paid and paying fees

When you set up a selling partner account, you’ll provide a credit card number and a bank account. Amazon will charge the credit card to cover your fees, and proceeds from any sales will be deposited into your bank account.

Referral fees

For every item sold, selling partners pay Amazon a percentage of the total price—including item price, shipping cost, and any gift-wrapping charges—or a minimum amount, whichever is greater. Referral fees are in addition to selling plan fees.

Category Referral Fees

Selling partners pay a referral fee on each item sold. For all products, Amazon deducts the applicable referral fee percentage calculated on the total sales price. The total sales price is the total amount paid by the buyer, including the item price and any delivery or gift wrapping charges.

Fulfilment fees depend on whether you plan to ship products yourself, or use Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) to handle your logistics and offer Prime shipping for your products.

FBA storage fees*

Inventory storage fees are charged monthly based on the daily average volume (measured in cubic meter) for the space your inventory occupies in Amazon fulfilment centres. The volume measurement is based on unit size when properly packaged and ready to ship.

When you fulfil orders yourself, Amazon charges shipping rates based on the product category and shipping service selected by the customer, and then passes the amount on to you in the form of a shipping credit.
Selling partners with the Professional plan set their own shipping rates (except for books, music, video, and DVD products, see credit table below). When a customer buys your product, you receive a credit from Amazon that matches the shipping rate. Keep in mind that the referral fee is calculated from the total sale price, including the item price, shipping cost, and any gift wrapping charges.
Selling partners with the Individual plan use Amazon’s set shipping rates for all products. Individual selling partners have to ship orders at the set rates even if the shipping credit is less than total shipping costs, so it’s important to price items in a way that makes sure you'll earn a profit.

Additional selling fees

Inventory fees
If you store inventory in an Amazon fulfilment centre—available to selling partners who use FBA—in addition to monthly inventory storage fees, you may incur other fees, such long-term storage fees, overage fees, and removal order fees.
Refund administration fee
If you refund a customer for an order for which you have already received payment, Amazon will refund you the amount of the referral fee you paid for the item(s), minus the applicable Refund Administration Fee, which is the lesser of 20 zł or 20% of the applicable referral fee.

For example, if you refund a customer the 50,00 zł total sales price of an item in a category with a 15% referral fee, your Refund Administration Fee will be 1,50 zł (50,00 zł x 15% referral fee= 7,50 zł).
High-volume listing fees
The High Volume Listing Fee will only apply if you exceed 2 million SKUs in a given month, and it will be applied to your highest number of SKUs above 2 million at any time during that month. For each active non-media SKU over 2 million, a fee of 0,0016 zł per SKU will apply.

How are Amazon FBA fees calculated?
FBA fees or fulfilment fees are calculated per item depending on its category, size and weight, and the channel on which the item is being sold. These cover the costs of storing your items in Amazon fulfilment centres, picking, packaging and shipping them once they are bought, and providing customer care.

These fees are charged per calendar month for all items stored in Amazon fulfilment centres. Based on the fulfilment channel used, you can get a preview of your revenue estimates (both total sales proceeds as well as per-unit sold estimates) using the FBA revenue calculator for specific items listed on Amazon.
What is the FBA calculator?
The FBA calculator is a preview tool that you can use to check and compare the estimated revenue for all the available fulfilment options for the products you have listed on Amazon and registered for Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA). You can enter your total expected sales volumes to estimate your total proceeds, check per-unit sold estimates, and also compare the fees and profitability between different fulfilment methods.
What is the difference between Amazon fees and FBA fees?
Amazon fees refers to the total charges all sellers have to pay in order to have products listed and sold on the Amazon website. This includes the referral fee, which is a percentage of the total price of your product excluding any taxes. It is charged for each item sold and varies by category.

Then, based on your selling plan, you may incur a per-item fee or a monthly fee. For example, the Professional Selling Plan requires a monthly subscription fee that also affords the user a range of benefits.

Apart from this, certain sellers may also need to pay additional fees either for premium services or marketing or for other reasons. You can refer to thispage for more comprehensive information.

FBA (Fulfilment By Amazon) Fees, on the other hand, are only charged for products that you have listed under this particular service. It is charged per unit based on the item's category, size and weight, and covers the cost to store, pick, pack and ship your products using FBA. If you have opted for this, these fees will be charged along with the other Amazon fees mentioned above.
How much does Amazon charge for storage of products?
Sellers have to pay a monthly inventory storage charge(storage fees), for the space occupied by all items stored in Amazon Fulfilment centres. This is calculated based on the daily average volume of the inventory, which is measured in cubic feet in the UK, and cubic metres in Europe.

The fee per cubic foot/metre varies based on the calendar month - it is lower from January to September, and a slightly higher amount is charged for the year-end, high-traffic months from October to December. The exact amount also depends on the category your product falls in, as well as its dimensions (size).

There is a separate fee structure for the storage of items that are classified as hazmat or dangerous goods.
