John William Money (8 July 1921 – 7 July 2006) was a New Zealand psychologist, sexologist and author. He researched human sexuality and gender identity.^[1]

Money studied education and psychology at Victoria University of Wellington.^[2] He was a professor at Johns Hopkins University in the United States.^[1]

Money made the "theory of neutrality", which argued that males and females are born without psychological differences. That led him to conduct a failed experiment in which he raised a boy as a girl.^[3][4]
