Logical negation (also known as not) is a logic operation. For a proposition 👁 {\displaystyle P}
, its negation is written as 👁 {\displaystyle \neg P}
.[1] It takes one input. It flips the value of the input as the output. If the input was true, it returns false; If the input was false, it returns true.[2][3]
