Jack is an airline pilot in the United States. He previously worked as a flight instructor, where he discovered a passion for teaching about every topic related to flight, as well as mentoring prospective pilots. With a degree in Political Science, Ethnic Studies, and Philosophy from Santa Clara University, Jack is delighted to share his passion through writing with Simple Flying.
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
The Boeing 777, or whichever plane is taking me where I need to go!
Why do you love aviation?
The majesty of flight captivated my young mind. The way aviation connects people to the world gives me fulfillment through my career.
What is your industry focus?
An airline pilot's persepctive on work rules, technical subject matter, aerodynamics, and the myriad of "why" questions pertaining to my profession.
