About Jake Hardiman
A graduate in German, Jake has a passion for history and regional aviation, and enjoys sampling new carriers and aircraft. He has visited OEM facilities as far and wide as Bristol, Toulouse, and Seattle, and recently enjoyed the milestone of flying his 150th sector as a passenger. Based in Norfolk, UK.
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
The small but mighty Embraer E-Jet series - there's just something that feels so much more exclusive and spacious about the 2-2 seating configuration!
What is your industry focus?
I enjoy highlighting the UK's diverse portfolio of regional carriers, as well as diving deep into fleet and route analysis with tools such as ch-aviation and Cirium.
Why do you love aviation?
For me, the main thrill of flying from A to B is knowing that every traveler has a story, and that any given flight is just one tiny cog playing its own little role in helping the machine of commercial aviation to keep the world moving.
