About Jonathan E. Hendry
Jonathan served as an International Air Cadet Exchange Ambassador to Canada and was stationed at RAF Lakenheath as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S Air Force. With a passion for discovering new destinations, he has visited over 70 countries, from Azerbaijan to Zimbabwe. Jonathan holds degrees in Nursing and European Studies. Based in North Carolina
What is your favourite aircraft and why?
My favorite plane is the SR-71 Blackbird. It is sleek, stealthy, speedy, and entirely iconic.
I also have a soft spot for sailplanes, which I learned to fly as a teenager.
Why do you love aviation?
The point of no return came when my Grandfather took me up in his Ercoupe for my 6th birthday.
Flying allows us to remove ourselves from the hustle and bustle every so briefly to be transported to places we've only ever read about in books.
What is your industry focus?
My passion is discovering emerging destinations, often through investigating new routes and airport developments.
