The Latest In Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport's Expansion

Can get well over 90F in the summer and down to -35F (or colder), depending on exactly where you are in the state

This Is How Powerful The Airbus A330neo Is

Don't forget the reinforced landing gear, allowing it to better be swapped in on shorter, higher-frequency routes without needing additional maintenance due to the higher number of flight & landing cycles

America's Low Cost Airlines Have Just Started Their Own Airline Association

Looks like that last one was meant to be Sun Country, and someone didn't do a great job of proofreading...

Have You Ever Flown On A Domestic Widebody Flight?

Only once on MSP-PHX, back in Winter 2022/2023 when DL scheduled a once-daily route on the A350-900.

10 US Airports That Are Perfect For Planespotting

Surprised that MSP isn't on this list! I know it doesn't have the most international aircraft movements, but the fact that it's Delta's 2nd largest (fortress) hub, coupled with the Aircraft Viewing Area being on the field itself leaves me surprised that it's not at least an honorable mention. Great list otherwise though - keep up the fantastic work!! :D

Minneapolis–St. Paul's 5 Largest Airlines By Market Share

Great article! Did you know that Delta actually operates from all T1 concourses, with the exception of the E gates? A, B, C, D, F, and G are basically all Delta (with a few exceptions here and there). #TheMoreYouKnow

Where Should Virgin Atlantic Fly Its 787 Next?

MSP is my top contender, but that's because it's my home airport. Virgin has brought their 789 and A35K to MSP for the MN Vikings charter flight for the London game, but they do not currently offer any regularly scheduled service from LHR-MSP. Though, I suppose bringing them to MSP would mean direct competition with a JV partner, and it's very possible demand isn't high enough to justify both airlines operating regular nonstop service between the pair (insert shrug here)

Predictions: New Aircraft and Routes for Delta

I don't think Delta's current fleet strategy needs aircraft that are as high-capacity as the 777X, especially since the 777-200LR fleet was retired early (thanks to the pandemic, but still).

Predictions: New Aircraft and Routes for Delta

As much as I agree, I will be shocked if Delta adds the A338 to their order book... Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised!! 😁

Predictions: New Aircraft and Routes for Delta

As much as I would love to see Delta operate the A330-800, it would make more sense for them to purchase more A330-900's instead since the seating capacity between the two isn't a huge difference, and the A339 is more economical on a fuel burn per seat basis... But agree that Delta adding the A338 to their fleet would be awesome!!

Predictions: New Aircraft and Routes for Delta

ethan884 I'm assuming you're asking about the equipment upgrade to HND. According to Ishrion Aviation on Facebook back in October 2024, MSP-HND will be upgauged to the A359 towards the end of March 2025 :)

Predictions: New Aircraft and Routes for Delta

Excited for MSP-HND to get an equipment upgrade from the A339 to the A359 (and other Pacific route upgrades). It would be super interesting to see Delta commit to the A338 to assist with the B763(ER) retirements that are on the horizon and make it less of a problem child for Airbus; though it's much more likely for them to stick with the A339 and A350-family and just super-boost capacity on the routes the 767 will be replaced on.

Alaska Air Group Adds Seattle To Global Route Map With New Service To Tokyo And Seoul

Definitely not the direction I was expecting Alaska Air Group to take with the Hawaiian A330s, but at least they didn't immediately release plans to try and get back to being a Boeing-only operator again (at least for now)
