Turkish Airlines Threatens Fines For Getting Out Of Seat Too Early

Most of us who have traveled have seen it happen: The aircraft touches down and conducts a safe landing and proceeds to the gate or remote stand. As the jet slows down, you hear a few โ€˜clicksโ€™ around the cabin - the premature unbuckling of seatbelts. This might even happen immediately after landing for some of the more eager travelers. Some passengers may even proceed to stand up and reach for their overhead baggage while the aircraft is still rolling! Itโ€™s obviously not safe and against regulation.
